Sustainable Practices

In the 21st century, the environment and its ecosystems become more and more in danger each day. Therefore, taking action now to do your part, no matter how small, is of profound importance. The responsibility of ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come begins with us. Villa La Valencia Beach Resort and Spa strongly believes in doing sustainable practices to care for the environment. We always aim to reduce our ecological footprint by implementing sustainable practices and educating our teams and guests.

*Revision and style correction

• Beverages are served by the pool in reusable cups. 
• In order to protect the delicate marine and desert ecosystems that surround us from their damaging effects, straws are provided with our drinks only upon request. 
• Guests are encouraged to reuse their towels to diminish the water wasted during washing. We only replace them if they have been left on the floor, which ensures that we don’t compromise your comfort in our mission to protect the planet.
• Sheets are changed every three days, or sooner when requested by a guest so that we conserve water and electricity.
• The fruits, vegetables, and herbs we use at our Villa La Valencia restaurants are grown on-site or purchased locally so as to decrease our ecological footprint. 
• We utilize a variety of recycling initiatives, including the use of separate bins for organic and inorganic waste.
• Our staff plans and executes regular beach cleanup campaigns. 
• Sea turtle programs are implemented from May to October when turtles visit the resort’s beach to lay their eggs, as well as other initiatives designed to protect the wild and marine life that inhabits the region.
