Gifts not only bring joy to those receiving but those doing the giving, and resort credits are certainly the Villa Group Resorts’way of giving gifts. Gifts of even more luxury, but on us. Usually, resort credits are added value to resort promotions and all inclusive vacation packages. And it is a way to upgrade your experience at Villa la Valencia Los Cabos and all of our Villa Group resorts.
But before we discuss the question, “What can resort credits be used for?”, let’s first answer, “What is resort credit?” Resort credit is basically cash that you can only redeem or use at the hotel you received the credit. You can use your resort credit for extra services that would normally have an additional cost like spa services, private beachside picnics, or romantic dinners, just to name a few.
For those wondering why you’d need resort credits when you are at an all inclusive resort, let me explain. Luxury resorts, even all inclusive ones, will always offer extra hotel services which usually carry additional charges. These charges are then counted at the end of your stay and if you have any resort credits, they are subtracted from your bill. Who wouldn’t want an upgraded experience on us?
Some other places to use your resort credit is at some consumption centers. Although all inclusive vacation packages give access to all restaurants and bars, there are some premium food and beverages on the menu that attract additional charges. The choice is yours, upgrade to that bottle of wine you love, after all, that’s exactly what resort credits are for.
There’s nothing worse than staying at a luxury resort with a world-class spa and not using it. Speak to a concierge or spa receptionist about the spa services that are covered by resort credits and pamper yourself, relax, and simply enjoy. You deserve it! A spa treatment at Azul Wellness Spa is just what the doctor ordered.
Enjoy even more hotel extra services for less when you use your resort credits to save on laundry and dry cleaning services, in-room phone calls, and Kids’ Club and all its fun experiences. When in doubt, ask a staff member and they’ll gladly tell you if what you want is covered by your resort credits.
Villa la Valencia Los Cabos prides itself in being a top-notch resort with incomparable services and amenities like being home to the longest lazy river in the region. This 1148-foot lazy river wraps around the property and connects to other pools such as a freeform beachfront infinity pool.
It’s a no-brainer, really. Once you book one of our promotions, your resort credits become yours to use to upgrade your luxury experiences as you please. As mentioned above, there are different ways to take advantage of your resort credits and pay for certain extra hotel services.
Now that we’ve discussed what resort credits are and the different ways you can use them, it's essential that you also know what is not covered. You can't use it to pay for in-room mini-bar consumption, shopping at Palmita Market, Delicatessen, or food from the room service menu. Neither for tipping nor gratuities.
Another important thing to note is that resort credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. And neither are you able to save it for your next visit as it is only valid per stay, per reservation, and per room.
Although there are some restrictions, there aren’t too many. Nonetheless, you can always expect more when you stay at Villa la Valencia Los Cabos, and any of the resorts a part of The Villa Group Resorts hotel chain.
