After a smooth airport transfer, I arrived at Villa La Estancia, my home for the week. From the moment I walked into the open-air lobby, I knew I’d made the right choice. The staff greeted me like an old friend, and the check-in process was seamless.
There’s something magical about your first walk along the shore. The sand was soft under my feet, the waves rolled in gently, and the sky stretched endlessly above me. I strolled along Medano Beach, and the rhythm of the ocean instantly put me in vacation mode.

Back at the resort, I slipped into a swimsuit and made my way to the lazy river. Floating under swaying palms as the golden hour bathed everything in warm light felt like a dream.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, I headed to the beachfront restaurant for sunset cocktails and dinner, followed by an exquisite grilled fish, roasted veggies, and a chocolate dessert I still dream about.

Even though I was tempted to end the night with a cozy bath and a good book, the music drifting in from downtown changed my mind. A quick ride later, I was dancing to live music in downtown Cabo San Lucas, where the energy was electric, but still laid-back, exactly the kind of fun I wanted to start my trip with.
Back at Villa La Estancia, I crawled into bed with sandy toes and a happy heart. Cabo had welcomed me with warmth, flavor, and more beauty than I could’ve imagined. And the best part? This was only the beginning.
